Scooby-Doo Halloween Sleepover

It's that time of year again when we dress our children up in their 'scary' outfits and take them to Halloween parties or trick or treating. But is there another way to celebrate too? For children who don't want to go trick or treating or those who are simply unable to. Well Yes I have been given a brilliant idea - a Halloween sleepover of course - not just any Halloween sleep over either but a very special Scooby-doo Halloween sleepover. We are big Scooby-Doo fans as you may have noticed in the past.

We have been sent a super cool box of Scooby-Doo goodies to celebrate! The children were delighted when the box arrived and couldn't wait to find out what was inside. Because Isabelle is allergic to a lot it makes the normal Halloween things more difficult to include her in so a 'sleepover' is perfect for allergy children - no one needs to miss out on the fun and it can be adapted to suit.

So what was inside our box for our Scooby-Doo sleepover box? -

Lego Scooby-Doo haunted Halloween movie dvd which is a full length animated adventure movie available in stores this week. Join Scooby-Doo and the gang to investigate and solve another spooky mystery and this time its in LEGO form. Which is even more popular with Oliver. He loves Lego so much! After Scooby and Shaggy win a burger eating contest the gang are invited on a tour of Hollywood's Brickton Studios famous for producing classic monster movies. But when they get there, they discover the owner, Chet Brickton is being forced to sell the studio because his latest features are being sabotaged by ghostly monsters. Can the gang solve the mystery before Brickton Studios is forced to close its doors forever? The children loved this movie - there eyes were glued. Just the right amount of Halloween movie fun for little ones. Isabelle is 2 years old and she watched it from start to finish. It makes me want to take her to the cinema now as I feel more confident that she would actually sit and watch it.
The collectable plush is a Scooby-doo from Character options which is suitable for all ages. It's made from extra soft cuddly fabric and small enough to take everywhere with you which makes it the perfect cuddly friend. I have a feeling we will be taking it everywhere with us.

Rubies masquerade have also sent us an adorable Scooby-Doo onesie which is available as either a polar fleece onesie for toddlers or all in one jumpsuit for 4-8 year olds with a character head piece. The material is nice and soft - something comfortable is essential in playwear because if it's not comfortable your child will not wear it which means you'll have wasted your money not going to have problem with Oliver wanting to wear this one!... The fit of the product is good, there still space for Oliver to grow and it will still fits. Isabelle couldn't wait to try it on either - she loves dressing up at the moment.
Also included was a Scooby-Doo magazine from Panini comics which is packed full of activities that are 100% monster fun to be had in every issue including of course mysteries that need to be solved. I think magazines are a great thing to buy for your children because it encourages them to read more as they're genuinely interested in what they're reading. Oliver loves this Scooby-doo magazine.
There was also some super tasty chocolates and an options hot chocolate which everyone knows is that best! We didn't want to leave Isabelle out so she had some sweeties and a hot chocolate using 'choc shot' which is suitable for those with allergies!
