Kid's style

I love buying the children clothes and like reading other bloggers style posts for kids, my favourite has to be This Mama Life who's little girl is just younger than Isabelle - I guess that's why I like her posts so much because I can relate to them and also buy Isabelle similar items having seen them there.

I do have far too many clothes for her at the moment, she's just not outgrowing 12-18 months! We have gone into some 18-24 month clothes (She was 2 on 17th March) but she's really getting her use out of smaller clothes! So currently I'm not buying any more - it seems silly to buy things not knowing when they'll fit her or just putting them in the drawer for months.
So already featured on the blog is this cat dress from Next but I'm going to share it again to show how we have changed the outfit by adding a bright pink cardigan which Isabelle got from Grandma for her birthday this year. It's definitely one of my favourite outfits of hers.

At Butlins last week she also wore my favourite bunny leggings which are old season from Next matched with a I love my daddy top which is obviously popular with daddy.

I love putting her in cute little dresses but I totally understand that it's so comfy to be in a pair of leggings, if we are going to be travelling somewhere or she's going to be running about playing outside or at soft play I know it's best to put a pair of leggings on her. I love dressing her girly though, I don't like it when children are in dark or plain colours all the time although it looks good sometimes, bright and cheerful is my favourite.

Butlins was Isabelle's first time swimming and she wasn't sure what to make of it to be honest, I don't like swimming myself but feel it's important that both the children grow to love it. Oliver actually had a swimming lesson at Butlins - if you haven't read my butlins post yet you can do here - I mention the good and the bad things. Bognor Regis

I can't not share her adorable swimsuit from Monsoon and two piece from Gap... So cute. Her legs are so skinny! She doesn't get that from her mummy. Oliver's swim bits are from M&S.

For boys when you're doing lots of travelling you can't go wrong with comfy jogging bottoms - £6 from Next and wash really well. Top is from M&S. He loves anything with his favourite characters on.
It was Isabelle's birthday on 17th March and I got this top in the Next sale for her! So cute. To be honest, it'll probably fit next year too!
For her birthday party, it had to be matching her little friend Mollie with a dog print dress!
On the beach, Oliver was wearing jeans that had a texture of jogging bottoms he really likes these and they were a primark bargain which surprised me!
Last of all - dress up for children is amazing... Why not let them go shopping dressed as a princess or superhero? George at Asda do some great costumes and some start from age 1 too which is great for small people.
